Stranger & Stranger delivery! Mind blowing holiday surprise from the masters of packaging ~ this year, they revisit their Holiday Spirits, turning the labels into beautifully packaged tshirts in a stunning box!

December 22nd, 2013

When it comes to packaging, no one does it quite like Stranger & Stranger. And when it comes to holiday surprises, theirs are consistently - truly epic! From the Spirit No. 12 Absinthe  to the Brown Bagged Spirit No. 13 to last years Ultimate Deck ~ they never cease to amaze! And that's just the holiday goods... as for real work, their portfolio includes some of our favorites like the Kraken and Hangar One!

Anyhow - back to this year's surprise, they have revisited their spirits of the past and turned them into wearables in the form of beautiful, printed Alternative Apparel tees carefully wrapped up in linen pouches complete with letterpressed, hand numbered tags... all boxed up in a larger shirt box of sorts covered in delicately cheeky details to discover on every side. I'll never get tired of their optical illusion of a logo ~ or the pairs of scissors worked in throughout! "Quality means Stranger & Stranger - New York & London - Purveyors of Dry & Wet Goods - Trafficking intoxicants since 1994 - Curiosity & Craftsmanship" And as the seal says here we have some "Select apparel for the imbiber"! It is also "Suitable vesture for bacchanalians" and "Curious raiment to the well irrigated"... and there's far more to read tucked away throughout the box design...

I can only dream of finding an excuse to someday work with the brilliant team at Stranger & Stranger - and if you're looking for some stunning packaging with incredible attention to details, find them in London and New York! Thanks again, Stranger & Stranger!

The front!
The back...
The bottom!
There are even beautiful graphics hidden inside the box!
Nice detailing along the edges...
The backs of each shirt!
And of course ~ as a reminder, i had to pull out the matching alcohol bottles! Here's Spirit No. 12 Absinthe!
And here's Brown Bagged Spirit No. 13!
The details on Brown Bagged Spirit No. 13 are still one of my favorites...
But wait - there's more?!?! As spotted in the pictures at Stranger&Stranger Facebook Page there are at least 5 t-shirt designs! Other than the three we received, there's the Mezcal above, and on the far right (upside down) what looks like a cannibal inspired liquor?
